The dentist confirmed my suspicion today - Caroline has her first TWO loose teeth! She is positively over the moon with joy. A few weeks ago she conked heads with her friend while playing, and I didn't think much about it. But just the other day she said that one of her front teeth hurt, and I noticed that it was moveable. Naturally I didn't remember from my own tooth-losing time whether it hurts when it starts happening, so I was concerned that she may have damaged something in the collision with Sarah's forehead.
I told the dentist this story and he said that if Caroline truly had suffered some damage to her tooth, it would have hurt long before now, and that it is natural for some pain as the teeth losen. Dr. K then totally stunned me when he said "besides, the tooth next to it is just as lose!"
Caroline is disappointed at the doctor's story that it could take 4-6 months for the tooth to losen completely enough to come out. But he said she could be losing at least one of the teeth by the time of her 5th birthday, so she will be the living version of "All I Want for Christmas is my Two Front Teeth!" hahaha
